Services
Sunday services:
Our weekly Sunday services are at 10am. There is also a children’s programme for young children.
Holy Communion services:
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month from February to December.
Easter Services:
- Ash Wednesday Service: a shared service with the other churches in the Bay at the start of Lent. The venue changes each year.
- Maundy Thursday service: on the eve of Good Friday at 7.30 pm.
- Good Friday service: at 9.30am.
- Easter Sunday service: at 10am – usually shared with the Pacific congregation who also worship at Iona.
Christmas services:
- Join us for supper at 6pm on Christmas Eve, followed by the service at 7pm.
Every week
Bible study group: Our Bible study group meets in the church foyer every Wednesday at 10.30am. Visitors and new members are assured of a warm welcome.
Girls’ Brigade: The 6th Auckland Company of the Girls’ Brigade meets on Thursdays from 6-8pm in the church hall. New members are welcome.
Friday Gang: Meet at the church on Friday mornings any time between 9am and 12 noon to help with cleaning, gardening, or any light odd jobs that need doing around the church. Morning tea is usually at 10am.
Every month
First Sunday Lunch Club: Join members of the congregation for lunch after church on the first Sunday of the month at Espresso Café in Lynnmall.
Coffee ‘n’ Chat: Every second Tuesday of the month, at a local café. Contact us for more information.
Community Meal: Enjoy a meal and companionship at our community dinner, every second Saturday of the month at 5pm in the church hall.
